We are men, women, children, engineers, electricians, businessmen and women, students, teachers, doctors, athletes, artists, young, and old, but most of all we are family.
We believe in living a holy, consecrated, and sanctified life by the power of God. In doing so, we are preparing for the imminent return of Jesus Christ, and in the translation of the saints (Rapture) according to Thessalonians 4:13—17.
The Bible is the inspired inerrant Word of God. We believe in the virgin birth, the life, death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. We also believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of the Father and that it is through him that all men have access to salvation.
We believe in the necessity of water baptism in Jesus’ name according to Acts 2:38, and the in-filling of the holy spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues according to Acts 2:4. This constitutes the new birth spoken of by the Lord Jesus Christ in John 3:5.
To honor and glorify God by obeying Jesus’ command to make disciples of all people. We accomplish this through our Mission and Core Values.
The purpose of our ministry is summed up in Colossians 1:28: “Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”
Rom. 10:13-15; Acts 1:8
Nehemiah’s Temple was founded to help people. We are here to provide support: Spiritually, Naturally. It is our ministry cto help people to mature in God.
Following the example of Jesus Christ , we care about every person’s needs. Therefore, we have a full array of social services available:
To accommodate this vision, we have classrooms, offices, recreational space, group rooms, and meeting rooms.
Nehemiah’s Temple has a fully trained professional staff which is capable of managing every component of our ministry. Regular office hours are maintained to support rigorous ministry activities.
Nehemiah’s Temple is a place where everyone is loved, and in turn, everyone gives love. We teach because we care, we preach from concern, we admonish by mercy, and we help by remembering that we are helped. If there is grief, we comfort. If there is hunger, we feed. If any are down, we lift up. If any are hurt, we pray for healing. For the lost we offer Jesus —
1 John 4:17
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
