About Us

Nehemiah’s Temple of the Apostolic Faith is an apostolic church located in Madison Heights, Michigan. We believe in the motto “Come as you are and change as you come”. The purpose of our ministry is summed up in Colossians 1:28: “Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”

Go and Serve

Nehemiah’s Temple is a church that believes in serving God through ministry and out in the community.

We have several different ministries that you can get involved in and give your time and talents to. See out “In the Church” page for more information about those ministries and how to sign up! We also have many community partnerships and events that we participate in throughout the year. We go out in the community and spread the word of God in the hopes of being a blessing to those who may not have a relationship with God or want to have one and don’t know where to start. We hope that you will join us in spreading the good news!

Our Ministries

Ignite Youth

We welcome children and youth to be active in worship, and participate in our youth ministry. There are several events throughout the year geared toward the youth.

In the Community

NT provides a weekly ministry to a local human service agency that services individuals with life difficulties ranging from alcohol addiction, mental health issues and homelessness. Many have been blessed by this ministry through receiving the word of God and getting baptized. To learn more about how to serve in this ministry, connect with us!

Annual Church Picnic

Every year, NT hosts a wonderful church picnic in which we come together for food, fun, and lots of fellowship! Visit our church calendar of events to see when the next picnic will be!

Worship Experience

Our worship experience is like no other. We offer up praises to our God every week and received anointed words from our Pastor and spirited singing. Join us virtually or in person every Sunday.

Activism

NT has attended community events in the Madison Heights area, uplifting issues that are important to our community and church family. Connect with us to find out how you can get involved in our community initiatives!

Food Pantry

NT has partnered with the Farmers Fresh Food box initiative to provide fresh produce to our members and community. On one of the donation days, we distributed 250 boxes! Connect with us to find out how you can get involved in our community initiatives!
